Iberian ham is a unique product in the world and of great importance in the culinary culture of Andalusia. In this activity we will show firsthand all the secrets and particularities that surround the Iberian world in Spain and Andalusia in particular.

WE WILL LEARN

  • What Iberian ham is and what makes it the one of a kind.
  • Production areas.
  • Identification of the different categories of Iberian ham.
  • Parts of the ham and cutting techniques for each one.
  • Tools to cut an Iberian ham properly.

Learning by cooking: “crostini” with ham, tomato, and olive oil.

Drinks: water, red wine, white wine, beer.

Lasting: 2 hours and a half.

Morning suggested timing: 11:00 – 13:30 (we can adapt to your program upon request if there´s availability).

Afternoon suggested timing: 17:30 – 20:00 (we can adapt to your program upon request if there´s availability).
